Talent Technology Announces Next Generation Resume Extraction Solution for Oracle's PeopleSoft Customers
Resume Mirror Extraction Enterprise provides migration for legacy Mohomine users
Vancouver, B.C., — November 13, 2007 — Talent Technology Corporation, an award-winning provider of recruitment technology, today announced an upgrade program for the Mohomine Resume Extractor (mRE), a bundled application that was originally included with PeopleSoft's Human Capital Management module-e-Recruit / Candidate Gateway. Mohomine parses and extracts applicant data from electronic, paper or scanned resumes and delivers it in a standardized form to e-Recruit/Candidate Gateway, thereby eliminating the need for applicants to manually complete the online application form when applying for jobs.
Talent Technology acquired the rights to the Mohomine technology through its acquisition of Magnaware in 2006. Jade Bourelle, CEO of Talent Technology commented, “Our focus is to continue to enhance our Resume Mirror Extraction technology and therefore Mohomine is no longer being updated with new capabilities and is in a maintenance–only stage. As such Mohomine does not support new formats such as Microsoft Office Word 2007 docx format for data extraction. However, in conjunction with Oracle, we’re pleased to deliver two solution options for current PeopleSoft e-Recruit users that are affected.”
The first option provides PeopleSoft users with an interim solution by receiving a patch for Mohomine to allow users to process Word 2007 docx format files. No other functionality or limitations of Mohomine are improved with this patch and no further upgrades or patches will be distributed.
The second solution option provides a complete upgrade path to Talent Technology’s latest Resume Mirror Enterprise Extraction offering. This gives PeopleSoft users significant enhancements in performance and functionality and the benefit of moving to a product which has an ongoing program of future releases. The Resume Mirror offering is 100% compatible with and certified for Oracle/PeopleSoft HCM. Resume Mirror Extraction allows users to process and manage resumes submitted via email, fax, web forms, and, optionally, even scanned paper resumes. It also is available with plug-ins for MS Outlook, Word and Internet Explorer to allow ‘one click’ data entry of resumes directly to PeopleSoft from common desktop applications.
